- Licensed ROC CR-11 contractor
- Work from your plans or design-build
- Permits and inspections handled
What to tell us
The more we know up front, the more useful the visit will be. Do not worry about getting the details exactly right. "The kitchen outlets quit when the microwave runs" tells us plenty.
- What you want done, or what is going wrong
- Roughly how old the home or building is, if you know
- The brand on the panel label, if you can see it
- Anything coming soon, like an EV, solar or a pool
- The best days and times for a visit
What the estimate includes
The estimate is free. It covers the visit, a look at the job and a written price. It is not a full electrical inspection of the home, and nobody will pressure you to sign on the spot. Take the quote, compare it, and call when you are ready.
If you want a full electrical inspection, for example before buying a home, tell us in your request or when you call and we will explain what that involves.
Emergencies cannot wait for an estimate
If you smell burning, see sparks or scorch marks, or find a panel or outlet that is hot to the touch, do not book an estimate. Call 602-935-7971. If there is smoke or fire, get everyone out and call 911 first.
If anyone feels a tingle in or near a pool or spa, get everyone out of the water, keep them out, and call us.
How it works
From the first call to a passed inspection.
01
Send a request
Use the form on this page or call 602-935-7971. Tell us what is going on, what you want done and the best times to reach you. You do not need the technical terms. A plain description works.
02
We look at it in person
We set a time to see the job on site. We check the panel, the wiring involved and anything else that affects the price, and we answer your questions while we are there.
03
You get a written, flat price
We send a written estimate with the scope, the flat price and the permit if one is needed. The price stays the same unless you approve a change to the work.
04
We schedule the work, permit and inspection
Once you approve, we schedule the work for a time that suits you, pull any required permit and arrange the inspection. After the inspection, you get the permit record for your files.
Common questions
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. There is no charge for us to come out, look at the job and give you a written price. You are under no obligation to hire us, and the quote is in writing, so you can compare it with others.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
Not a firm one. We can talk through what affects the cost, but electrical prices depend on the panel, the wiring path, access and permit requirements, and those are hard to judge without seeing them. A visit gives you a real number instead of a guess that changes later.
What does a flat price mean?
It means the price on the written estimate is what you pay for that scope of work, including the permit if one is needed. If we find something unexpected, we stop and talk to you before doing more, and nothing is added without your approval.
Do I need to be home for the estimate?
Usually, yes, or someone who can let us in and answer questions. We need to see the panel and the area where the work will happen. For rentals and commercial properties, a property manager or tenant can meet us instead.
Do you give estimates for commercial work?
Yes. For light commercial jobs, we walk the space with the owner, manager or general contractor and send a written, itemized quote. If you have plans, send them ahead of the visit so we can review them first.
